This was as ad recently in our local newspaper to give you an idea what kind of classified ads or other advertisements or Craigslist ads are out there for a non- certified or a certified medical billing specialist, medical biller or for anyone with medical billing experience or Medical Billing Training.

Please note the ad starts out saying you must have experience working directly BUT then changes to say that a degree or certification may be considered instead. 

So it's always important to read an ad all the way through. It does not state the salary as so many ads don't.  If you have any type of medical billing experience or medical billing training whether from an online medical billing school or at a college in your area or even any type of related job experience it's worth applying as they may not get someone with the exact billing experience they would like to have.

They are going first for the utmost in the medical billing career field so apply for this job or any related jobs no matter how far out it may seem.  Your personality is going to win them over right?  An excellent resume focused on medical billing experience, health or medical office job experience  or insurance job experience and lots of smiling too.

City Radiologists, P.C.  has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Billing Specialist.  Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years medical billing experience working directly with insurance companies and collecting payments from patients.

Associate's degree or certification in medical billing may be considered in exchange for years of experience. Primary responsibilities for this position include following up on accounts from age reports, generating insurance claims, and working on patient accounts.
